After the wedding, when all the glitz has settled and the honeymoon ends, it’s time to go home. The day to day starts, as husband and wife. The dating scene is over and the hustle and bustle of preparing for your wedding is over. Now it’s time to begin the new “norm”. What does that look like? What does it look like walking out this life as husband and wife? What does it look like walking this out with eternity in mind?
When the groom takes the bride’s hand and says “Let’s go home”, it’s a home together, not alone. There has been a season of dessert, but I tell you I hear the sound of rain. It has been a dry season and many of us have not known what the new “normal” looks like after choosing to follow our Beloved Jesus. I tell you that the rain of His love is about to pour out. Seek Him with all your heart!
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. – Jeremiah 28:13
This is God’s promise to His children. We WILL find Him!
At the beginning of this year there was a prophecy – that this was a sweet 16 for us, as Christians. I tell you the best part of the party is at the end, cake and presents! We have mingled and laughed and shared with each other, but the presents are about to be opened and the release is coming from heaven. I see gifts, spiritual gifts being handed out from Heaven. This is a love gift from the bridegroom to His bride! From the Father to His child on their birthday. As parents we always give the greatest gift at the birthday party, to our child.
Enter into a position to receive! The rain is coming, and the drought is about to end, can you smell the rain in the air? Do you see the small cloud in the sky? The rain is coming! The gifts are being released, we just need to get into the position to receive. You can’t open presents if you didn’t attend your own party, you can’t open gifts if you are too busy outside and not listening to what is going on. Soon the party will be over and the time to open them will be over.
