Since then

I have not gone back to “normal”. For such a thing no longer exists. I live each day thriving in God’s love and striving to do his word. I spend time praying for guidance from the simplest thing to the most complex idea. I have found that God wants us to turn to him for guidance. Whether it’s in a time of need or in a time of worship. Before we get on the road or while we already are and find anger getting to us. The Lord wants us to turn to him for everything. To find him and know him. We are his children and he wants a relationship with us and us with him.  I take comfort in knowing that God is with me when I wake up in the morning, get on the road that afternoon, cook my meals in the evening and go to bed at night. Knowing he walks beside me no matter what task I am on, makes me smile. For I know when I talk to someone, I speak because the Lord has prompted me. I know that I do not get in my car just because I want to waste gas, but because the Lord is sending me out on a mission.

I trust in the Lord to guide me through each day, moment and encounter. I know with him at my side I can do anything.

About Cynthia

I was brought up a Mormon but became a skeptic. I was open minded and accepting but did not know what to believe or how to believe in God or Jesus Christ. In the passing my baby boy, at the age of 2 1/2, my eyes were opened to the Lord. In His love I found strength to get through my grief. I found compassion unlike any other. Through God I found Hope!
