So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall comeĀ in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”

Isaiah 59:19

I had the pleasure of painting at church today during first service. I arrived feeling as though there was a fog in the spirit. Like something that needed to be lifted. After arriving and hearing confirmation from several other people we began to pray. As worship started, God began to show me a flag being lifted. After I was done painting, I wrote down the word that I heard God speak so clearly.

“When you don’t see the storm, I will raise up a standard!
Before the enemy comes in, I will raise up a standard of Victory!
At the rising of my standard, the sound of Victory will be released!

I am raising up a standard during a the calm, to tell you to prepare for war during a time of peace.”

As I began to read this over, God showed me Sarah Connor, from terminator. How while she was in prison, she used that time to prepare for war. How she used a time of rest, to continue her training.

The body of Christ has become complaisant during their time of rest. They have become easy going and sleepy, when they should use the time of rest to prepare. Because a war is not easy. It will take courage, it will take bravery, it will take faith! If we do not exercise these parts of our lives during peace, the muscles will be weak during the time of war!

About Cynthia

I was brought up a Mormon but became a skeptic. I was open minded and accepting but did not know what to believe or how to believe in God or Jesus Christ. In the passing my baby boy, at the age of 2 1/2, my eyes were opened to the Lord. In His love I found strength to get through my grief. I found compassion unlike any other. Through God I found Hope!
