“Altar of the Lord”
What are you building your altar from?
In Joshua, the altar to the Lord was built from the stones of where they had been. So when God asked me, what are you building your Altar from? I began to look at where I had been and what I had been using to build my altar.
I noticed I was building altars out of things that were not worthy of the Lord. Things that created conflict and tension or convictions of the heart. But as I searched what I was doing I watched as God showed me when my altar was worthy of the sacrifice. The times when I made an altar of my time, and gave sacrifices of praise, devotion and prayer. The things we think are the smallest are, at times, the biggest to God.
